The Big Sleep
March 4th, 2017
Sleep. We all do it, we all need it but how many of us are doing it well?
More than anything else in the modern world Sleep seems to be tricky, elusive and complex.
Here at Matse we take Sleep seriously, it's why our founder Chris has worked tirelessly to find the right mattress for the Matse.
After rigorous testing we decided on a 240mm deep Sealy mattress, which is DOUBLE the thickness of those you'd usually find on a standard sofa bed, it not only holds up as a seat but provides you with a comfortable night's sleep. If you'd like to find out more head to www.matse.co.uk where you'll find everything you need.
Now onto the really big questions, we all know how we should be sleeping but why aren't we? Benson’s Beds recently conducted The Big Sleep Report which took responses from over 10,000 participants and what they found and many other studies have found is that the UK is waking up tired. We've found the helpful infographic that the lovely folks at Benson’s have put together so you can see for yourself just what's going on in people's bedrooms all across the UK.
We’ve also found a helpful comparison from The Sleep Council on how our sleep habits have changed between 2013-2017.
It's not all doom and gloom, it's never too late to change your habits and there are a few simple tips that can get you on to the right path.
However if you feel your Sleep problems are having a severe impact on your day to day life or mental health, please seek the correct help & advice from your doctor who will be able to work through different treatment options with you.
